Felipe S. Rossi

Born in São Paulo and graduated at Santa Casa Medical School, Residency in Pediatrics and in Neonatology at Instituto da Criança, University of São Paulo.

With an experience of more than 25 years in Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care practice and special interest in mechanical ventilation, with publications in this area and M.D. comparing open lung concepts using HFOV and Conventional Ventilation in an animal model.

Affiliated to Albert Einstein Hospital (São Paulo) worked on the development of institutional protocols for respiratory support in the NICU.

Lately, Electrical Impedance Tomography turned into an area of interest and publications focusing neonatal and pediatric areas, working together with intensivists from Brazil that are developing knowledge in this field, like Prof Eduardo Leite and Prof Marcelo Amato.
