Dr. Lise Piquilloud (MD, PhD) is an adult intensivist and clinical researcher at Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV), where she serves as a senior staff physician in the Adult Intensive Care Unit.
She is also a Privat-Docent and Senior Lecturer at the University of Lausanne (UNIL).
Dr. Piquilloud’s research focuses on respiratory mechanics, advanced respiratory monitoring, and optimization of mechanical ventilation strategies, particularly during assisted ventilation.
A former Chair of the Acute Respiratory Failure Section of the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM), she remains strongly committed to education and currently serves as Course Director of the ESICM Mechanical Ventilation Training Track.
