Elianne Vrijlandt

Elianne Vrijlandt, MD, PhD, is a pediatric pulmonologist at the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG), Beatrix Children’s Hospital, the Netherlands.

Her clinical and research interests focus on neonatal and pediatric respiratory medicine, with particular expertise in the long-term respiratory consequences of very preterm birth and bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD).

Her research includes infant and childhood lung function, respiratory outcomes after prematurity, and optimization of follow-up and treatment strategies for children with BPD.

She is actively involved in national and international collaborations in pediatric respiratory medicine and in the development of clinical care and research for children with chronic lung disease.
