Andreas Schibler’s research has been focused over the last 3 decades on acute respiratory failure in children and cardiovascular support after cardiac surgery.
He has extensive experience in performing large randomised controlled trials across multiple sites with publications in reputable journals such as NEJM, JAMA and Lancet.
Andreas Schibler has been awarded the MRFF/NHMRC Practitioner Fellowship allowing 50% FTE dedicated and protected research time.
Andreas Schibler is a regular NHMRC and MRFF grant assessment panel member over the last 20 years and is keen to mentor the next generation of academic clinicians.
