Tobias Werther is a clinical neonatologist at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria, where he serves as a lead senior consultant in the neonatal intensive care unit. He holds a PhD in mathematics from the University of Vienna and developed a strong interest in neonatal respiratory support during his training. His primary research focuses on monitoring and signal processing, with a particular emphasis on electrical impedance tomography.
In addition to his clinical and research work, Tobias is actively involved in the European Society for Pediatric Research (ESPR), where he is a member of the Pulmonology section and the special interest group on Neonatal and Pediatric Vascular Access.
